Unit 4: Food

Foods and beverages, ordering in a restaurant; preferences, suggestions, excuses; how often.
The unit lasts for 7 days.

Objectives

Students will be able to:

• Talk about foods and beverages
• Talk about likes and dislikes
• Express how often something is done
• Make suggestions, excuses and recommendations
• Get someone's attention
• Order food
• Pay a restaurant check

Lessons

• Day 1: Talking about food items
• Day 2: Food likes and dislikes
• Day 3: Reading menus, writing letters
• Days 4-7: Ordering food, getting attention, paying the check
